A programme is a series of activities to be carried out within a specified time frame.
Pedagogical Programme is what goes beyond the mere organization of actions and activities within a time frame and specifically focuses on the education of children and young people.
The Pedagogical Guiding Programme , in addition to the general objective of educating children and Leaders to correctly classify their activities within time intervals, has the specific objective of imparting knowledge and a way of life.
It is based on the transmission and assimilation of knowledge and principles through:
- incorporating the desires and aspirations of both the children and the adults involved,
- taking into consideration the wishes and requirements of the Central Administration,
- addressing the needs arising from the location and climatic conditions,
- adapting to the cognitive abilities and dynamics of each Troop.
The aim being, through knowledge, action and evaluation, to prepare not only the children but also the Leaders, according to their current needs, age characteristics and cognitive abilities, for their integration into the adult world so as to become happy and competent individuals, ready to live in harmony and productivity with themselves and with the other people around them.
