The Stars Branch is especially designed for girls and boys aged 5 to 7 years old (pre-school and 1st Grade of Primary School). The children, known as Stars, meet once a week for 1 hour and a half. These meetings take place at a designated location called “Hestia” providing a consistent and welcoming environment for the children.
The Greek Guiding Association entrusts adult volunteers with the responsibility of educating the children by implementing the Pedagogical Guiding Programme ensuring that the Troop, known as “Galaxy” functions effectively. The programme is designed to provide a holistic learning experience for the Stars.
Through engaging and hands-on activities, the Stars have the opportunity to collaborate, take initiative, develop their skills, and assume responsibility. They also have the chance to form friendships, enjoy themselves, foster a sense of respect for Nature, and contribute back to their communities.
